Education & Awareness is as crucial as anti-rabies vaccinations for rabies elimination.

It is sad that even today, there isn’t much awareness about rabies. Many people are under the impression that rabies does not exist now, but sadly, it isn’t true. Rabies is lurking around. Utkarsh gets at least one rabies call every month from in and around Mumbai. Rabies Mukti Mission 2029 works at two levels for rabies eradication.

Anti-rabies vaccination drives:

We organise regular drives in 6 cities in Maharashtra, including, Mumbai, Thane, Ahmednagar, Nanded, Satara and Latur.

Education & Awareness:

Rabies Mukti Mission – 2029 conducts awareness workshops and educative campaigns in 6 cities, namely, Mumbai, Thane, Ahmednagar, Nanded, Satara and Latur for adults and children. These workshops include distribution of rabies-awareness pamphlets, education on dog behaviour, rabies prevention, rabies vaccinations, and more. We also encourage public participation in rabies vaccination drives and request people to support us in organising anti-rabies vaccination drives in their localities.
